Most of my work is arranged directly with schools or districts seeking help with the Singapore Math Curriculum or math instruction generally.
That said, I am delighted to be among a select group of educators who lead workshops for the Bureau of Education and Research (BER), the leading provider of staff development and training in North America. Currently, I conduct two different workshops for BER:
- “How to Use Strategies From Singapore Mathematics to Strengthen Your Math Instruction”
- “Boost Students’ Math Problem Solving Skills Using Singapore Model Drawing”
In addition, I will be a presenter this year at several of BER’s two-day Math Conferences, “Helping Students Succeed in Math.” The first will be in Minneapolis, MN December 10th and 11th. Learn more and register here: Helping Students Succeed in Math: North Central Conference for Third, Fourth and Fifth Grade Teachers.
As they are announced, I will post my 2012-2013 BER Workshop dates.
